The High Commission of Zambia on Saturday celebrated its Independence Day anniversary. 

Zambia and Namibia have a deep relationship spanning many decades, rooted in solidarity and diplomatic relations as well as infrastructure and economic development.

A resident of Muyako in the Zambezi Region, Patrick Matengu, is appealing to the government to consider some sort of compensation for cattle lost to a natural disaster.

Matengu this week woke up to five of his cattle struck by lightning in Maalo Village in the Muyako Area.
