Traffic officials in the Zambezi Region are cautioning holidaymakers about road rage due to congestion in Katima Mulilo.

4 of the 7 inmates awaiting trial, who escaped from the Ngoma Police Station, appeared in the Katima Mulilo Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

The 5th escapee was re-arrested on Thursday morning.

The National Democratic Party (NDP) has urged eligible voters to vote out corrupt leaders and ensure that the party wins in all eight constituencies of the Zambezi Region.

At its star rally in Katima Mulilo, the NDP announced all party candidates across the country.

A resident of Muyako in the Zambezi Region, Patrick Matengu, is appealing to the government to consider some sort of compensation for cattle lost to a natural disaster.

Matengu this week woke up to five of his cattle struck by lightning in Maalo Village in the Muyako Area.

The storm that hit on Tuesday caused widespread damage to homes in Mafuta, Namalubi, and Lisikili.
