The anti-corruption commission arrested three suspects on Wednesday in the Zambezi Region for their involvement in a fraudulent drought food supply scheme.

On Friday, the Katima Mulilo magistrate's court denied them bail.

Police in the Zambezi Region are investigating a case of attempted murder after a man was shot at Joefrys Cattle Post in the Kanono area on Thursday evening, following a domestic dispute.

According to the police, the incident occurred in the evening.
