Residents of the Goreangab constituency in Windhoek will now no longer have to travel long distances for shopping.

This follows the opening of the Goreangab Mall, a N$270 million development.

The Okakarara Municipality has passed a resolution to write off the interest on rates and taxes incurred by its residents.

This is to help the council continue to generate money and reconnect services.

Residents owe the council N$68 million in rates and taxes.

The Keetmanshoop Municipality has postponed the planned water supply disconnection that was scheduled for the 24th of March until the 7th of April 2026.
