Police in the ||Kharas Region have honoured retiring police officers, who dedicated more than 25 years of their lives to serving and protecting communities, with a farewell parade. 

The farewell parade ceremony was held in Keetmanshoop. 

||KHARAS POLICE EVACUATE 96 FISH RIVER CANYON HIKERS

The ||Kharas Region Police have managed to successfully evacuate ninety-six hikers from the Fish River Canyon.

The hikers, most of them South African citizens, were trapped by rising water levels in the canyon due to heavy downpours in the area.
