NCAA SENDS OFF 22 BURSARY RECIPIENTS

The Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has sent off 22 bursary recipients to pursue studies in various disciplines. 
The recipients include nine air traffic controllers, four air traffic safety electronics personnel, and nine aeronautical information officers.

Members of the National Council (NC) raised concerns about school hostel conditions, unfinished projects, unclear budgets and collapsing government buildings.

The MPs further urged the government to improve accommodation and provide a supportive environment for learners.

More than 400 copies of a pictorial book celebrating Namibia’s Founding President, Sam Nujoma, will be distributed to libraries and schools nationwide.

The handover took place on 12 May, commemorating Nujoma’s 97th birthday.
