Poverty is considered the main contributing factor to criminal activities among young people in rural communities.

A teenage boy's body was discovered in Karibib this morning. 

According to Erongo Police regional commander Commissioner Nikolaus Kupembona, preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was stabbed. 

The victim is believed to be approximately 17 years old. 

The Erongo Police are investigating a case in which body parts were discovered floating in a plastic bag in a sewage dam at Karibib.
