PM commends WAD for 30 Years of empowering women in Namibia

Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa Amadhila has commended the efforts of the Women's Action for Development (WAD), having successfully trained over 4,000 individuals.

Kuugongelwa-Amadhila addressed WAD's 30th anniversary, commemorating its work in women's empowerment.

She delivered these remarks during the official opening of the Colloquium of African Geology in Windhoek.

Number of schools in Omusati face water shortage

The Education Director in the Omusati Region, Benny Eiseb, is concerned about water shortages being experienced at a number of schools in the region.

Eiseb informed the Prime Minister, who was in the region to assess service delivery, that 40 schools in the region were facing water shortages.
