Deputy Prime Minister, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has emphasised the need for Erongo regional leadership to step up their efforts in promoting private sector involvement in regional initiatives aimed at strengthening industrialization and driving economic development.

The African Export-Import Bank has expressed interest in working with both the public and private sectors in Namibia to finance the development of a robust pipeline of projects to support the country's development agenda.

The private sector has a crucial obligation to play at the forefront of the fight against climate change.

These were the remarks made by the President of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) at the Business Breakfast Session themed 'The Road to COP27' in Windhoek.
