The City of Windhoek has not set a date for the election of new political leadership, according to city spokesperson Lydia Amutenya.

Former Deputy Mayor of Keetmanshoop and councillor of the Landless People's Movement', Charlcyta Cooper has resigned from the party.
Cooper said she will hand over her resignation letter to the LPM.
A group of residents at Katima Mulilo in Zambezi staged a demonstration, demanding land delivery from the Town Council.
The demonstrators are also accusing the Town Council of allegedly failing to implement development projects promised during the elections.
