The Right to Shelter foundation of Namibia has withdrawn the town's Deputy Mayor, Dina Filemon, from her position.
The foundation has also reinforced her expulsion, emphasising that Filemon is no longer authorised to represent the foundation in any capacity.
Long-serving councillor at the Henties Bay Municipality, Michael Skini, will not be contesting in the upcoming local authority elections.
Councillor Michael Skini announced his decision to step down when he delivered the municipality's budget for the 2025/26 financial year.
