KAYEC Otjiwarongo desires expansion of building

KAYEC Otjiwarongo is in need of funds to expand its building, as most learners sit outside due to a lack of space.

The branch was opened in 2016 with the aim of making sure that no child drops out of school by helping them with schoolwork and keeping them busy with beneficial activities.

NSFAF awards loans to 22,178 tertiary students

The Namibia Student Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) has awarded loans to 22,178 tertiary students.

The Fund received over 30,000 applications, and close to 8,000 did not qualify for the loan because they were not eligible.

NSFAF and Welwitschia Health Training Centre sign MoU

The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) and the Welwitschia Health Training Centre have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at financially assisting students at the institution.

The MoU will allow students to write exams and view their results while payments are being settled.

IUM continues to increase intake capacity

The International University of Management (IUM) continues to increase its intake capacity annually.

The school that started with one learner in 1994 has a population of 13,500 students this year.

Dependents of former and current members of MUN to receive bursaries

27 dependents of former and current members of the Mineworkers Union of Namibia (MUN) will receive bursaries to further their studies at different institutions.

This follows the launch of a Direct Strategy by the Mineworkers Union of Namibia, Namibia Miners Investment, and NAMMIC Investment Holdings.
