The Minister of Environment and Tourism, Pohamba Shifeta, has issued a clarification regarding the recent controversy surrounding the procurement of horses for the newly established horse unit.

The communities of the Kunene Region have finally come to an agreement over the planned establishment of a wildlife conservation park in the region and have since agreed on its implementation.

Dune 7 in Walvis Bay has reopened to the public and will be operating from eight o'clock in the morning to seven o'clock in the evening every day. This follows after the Tourism Ministry with co-funding from the Game Product Trust Fund renovated facilities and gave it a facelift.

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism is commended for its efforts to ensure that rural communities in the country have access to clean and potable water infrastructure.
