The Chairperson of the National Council, Lukas Muha, has highlighted Namibia’s progress in advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC), noting that the country’s UHC policy was formally approved in February 2025.

National Council Chairperson Lukas Muha has urged parliamentary leaders to reinforce their role in safeguarding international law and advancing multilateral cooperation.

The Chairperson of the National Council and councillor of Mankupi Constituency, Lukas Muha, issued a stern warning against the use of divisive language. 

He urged community members to refrain from statements that promote tribalism, racism or regionalism. 

Two members of Namibia’s National Council have called for intensified government efforts in fighting corruption and providing timely support to families of former liberation fighters.
