Namibia, Botswana to increase trade via Walvis Bay harbour

The governments of Namibia and Botswana are determined to increase trade using the Walvis Bay harbour and surrounding infrastructure.

Oshikuku Town Council revamps sewer ponds

The Oshikuku Town Council was allocated N$5.7 million by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development (MURD) to expand their sewerage pond, fence it off, and put up an embankment to prevent the overflow of sewerage in the current financial year.

The tender for the project was awarded to Kambwa Trading.

Windhoek residents urged to attend community meetings

City of Windhoek Mayor Queen Kamati has urged residents of Windhoek to attend meetings to discuss matters of interest. 

The meetings are scheduled to run for the whole month of July.

She raised this during the monthly meeting of the City of Windhoek council.
