The number of learners benefiting from the government's school feeding programme has increased to more than 400 000 learners, from 78 000 in 1996. This was revealed during the handover of three hydroponic gardens to three schools in the Omaheke Region valued at N$350 000 by UNICEF and the World Food Programme (WFP).
