Otjozondjupa Police spokesperson, inspector Maureen Mbeha is cautioning motorists to be on high alert and adhere to the road rules when approaching an area around 20 kilometres south of Otavi. A serious accident occurred there around 20h00 this evening at a bridge. The accident claimed three lives. Two cars collided head-on. The driver of one of the cars, a Toyota bakkie, has burnt to death and two occupants of the other vehicle, a Fortuner SUV, also died. Motorists are urged to exercise patience and follow directions of members of the police and emergency services who are on the scene.
