Justice Minister Yvonne Dausab says the proposed amendment to the Combating of Rape Law will not only increase the minimum sentence and a severe punishment but it will also serve as a deterrent to the would-be perpetrators. She said this when motivating the Combating of Rape Amendment Bill in the National Assembly.
