Affirmative Repositioning (AR) leader Dr Job Amupanda today revealed progress in the application for the registration of a new workers' union. He posted on social media, “the Labour Commissioner has acknowledged and is processing the application of the Revolutionary Union (RU). The workers of Namibia, freedom is coming.” Last month AR spokesperson, Simon Amunime announced that the formation will create an alternative union to fight for Namibia's workers. Amunime further accused the existing unions of having been captured by the ruling party.
