A Cape Town-based environmentalist believes oil extraction in the Okavango Basin will only benefit the rich at the expense of the poor communities. Sven Fautley cycled 3 000 kilometres from Cape Town to Rundu to hand over his petition against the ongoing oil and gas exploration in Namibia and Botswana, to Recon Africa.
