Namibia recognises the rights of indigenous minorities and the state is working tirelessly to ensure the socio-economic emancipation of all individual groups through targeted interventions. These include advocacy, awareness raising and promotion of human rights-related matters pertaining to indigenous minorities and marginalised communities. Deputy Minister of Marginalised Communities Royal |Ui |o|oo, made these remarks at the celebration of International Day of the World's Indigenous People held at Gobabis.
