Communal farmers have been urged to harvest animal feed, which is in abundance after good rainfall received in most parts of the south. The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform says this is to ensure sufficient animal fodder during the dry season. The agricultural ministry urged farmers to build proper feed and fodder reserves to address shortages during draught. Farmers are also encouraged to buy animal feed in bulk as the market price is currently down.
