Government adjusted COVID-19 burial protocols and families can now bury their loved ones who died outside a locality at their own cost. Previously, family members of persons who died from the virus, were not permitted to transport bodies to their preferred burial sites, but in the area where they died, sometimes outside towns where the deceased reside.
