COVID-19 is said to have widened existing inequalities and fueled incidents of violence against women in Namibia. Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila said this during a virtual event organised by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), aimed at promoting the equal status of women and girls.
