Former Labour Deputy Minister dies

Former Labour Deputy Minister dies. Alfeus Muheua's death was confirmed by a family member. The Former Labour deputy minister died this morning in a Swakopmund hospital after a short illness. Muheua was a former president of the National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW). He was elected to the National Assembly in the 2009 general election. Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba then appointed Muheua to the position of Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare in his second cabinet. Muheua resigned from government in 2018 due to health reasons.
