Former NBC board member Colonel Gallen Kolokwe has died

Former NBC board member, Colonel Gallen Kolokwe has died Kolokwe died in the Roman Catholic Hospital, aged 69 Born in Muyako village in Zambezi Region, late colonel Kolokwe went into exile in 1976, and joined the PLAN to fight against apartheid. While in Exile, he served as the only magistrate for SWAPO in Zambia and Angola. After independence, he served in various positions, which included, Magistrate at Opuwo, and later became a Court Marshall for NDF and the Ministry of Home Affairs. Late colonel Kolokwe was also appointed in the Military attached in the DRC, and NBC Board member for ten years. He also served as Special Advisor to the Minister of Safety and Security. Late Colonel Kolokwe is survived by his wife and six children. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
