A police officer assigned to the Office of the Founding President, Sam Nujoma, has allegedly committed suicide at his home in Windhoek. NamPol's Deputy Inspector-General, Oscar Embubulu confirmed the incident to NBC News. Major-General Embubulu said that the officer was found dead in his shack at Okuryangava with his firearm on the scene. Police investigations are underway.
