The Stanford Graduate School of Business, through its Seed Transformation programme, hosted an information-sharing session aimed at empowering African entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses in Windhoek.
At the event, Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Chief Executive Officer Titus Nampala said leaders need to dedicate more time to long-term planning and scaling of their enterprises.
He further noted that while many business leaders begin the year with clear strategic plans, a significant portion of their time is often consumed by operational challenges that could be delegated to teams.
He emphasised the importance of building strong teams that can manage daily operations, which allows business leaders to concentrate on strategy, growth, and long-term positioning.
Stanford Global Director Jeff Prickett highlighted the role of small and medium enterprises in transforming economies.
Prickett said many African economies are still dominated by small, informal businesses and need more scalable companies to create sustainable employment.
