The Kavango East Governor Bonifatius Wakudumo wants residents of the two Kavango regions to benefit from any petroleum resources discovered there. Wakudumo told Canadian petroleum giant ReconAfrica, which is exploring oil and gas in the two regions, that inhabitants must come first in terms of employment arising from such activities.
