The late Hidipo Hamutenya could be buried at the Heroes Acre. The family has been given an offer that the Liberation struggle stalwart be buried there. This was announced by President Hage Geingob when he visited the bereaved family this afternoon. President Geingob who visited the family as a friend of the late shortly after his arrival from South Africa, said the late Hamutenya was a hero who served his country very well. It is for this reason that he said Hamutenya deserved a proper and heroes funeral. The widow Nangula Hamutenya informed the president that the family would revert back to the office of the Vice President for an answer. The late Hamutenya died on Wednesday at the age of 77.
