The Government of Japan has donated food aid to Namibia worth N$42 million in an effort to mitigate challenges posed by drought and the outbreak of COVID-19. Japan has also started with the implementation of a technical operation project in the northern regions, aimed at increasing food production and improving the livelihoods of small-scale farmers.
