A teacher from Coastal High School at Swakopmund was injured after riding into a taxi that made a sudden u-turn during morning rush hour. The impact flung him into the air and onto the side of the road about five metres away, but the extent of his injuries is unknown at this stage. The taxi driver had dropped off school children at Tamariskia Primary School, when he made the u-turn. Coastal High School Principal, Calvin Martin, told NBC News that the accident has left a few learners traumatised.
