Government has over the years created an enabling environment for women to take up leadership positions and participate in decision-making processes both in the public and the private sectors. The Minister of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare Doreen Sioka made these remarks at the commemoration of the International Women's Day in Opuwo.
