A total of over N$500 million have been earmarked for the provision of low-cost housing countrywide this year. The Minister of Urban and Rural Development (MURD), Erastus Uutoni, says the amount will also cater for the provision of basic services such as water, sanitation, roads and electricity, particularly in informal settlements.
