MP's in the National Assembly have called for the speedy ratification of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention on Domestic Workers. The Convention, tabled by the Minister of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment Creation, Utoni Nujoma, is aimed at curbing harassment of domestic workers at the places of employment. The convention provides for the protection of domestic workers and bans all forms of harassment against this group of workers.
