Namibia has committed to scaling up efforts of restoring biodiversity in both protected and unprotected areas. Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism Namibia, Minister Pohamba Shifeta said this in a speech read on his behalf by Omusati Governor, Erginus Endjala at the commemoration of the International Action Day for Biological Diversity at Ruacana, Omusati Region. This year's commemoration was held under the theme "Building a shared future for all life".
