Namibia introduces measures to revive tourism sector

The Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Forestry (METF) has introduced new measures or protocols aimed at reviving the tourism sector. The measures, which will come into effect on 1 September, will allow international tourist to enter Namibia through Hosea Kutako International Airport. Minister Pohamba Shifeta said the tourism sector has been severely affected by COVID-19, thereby affecting the livelihoods of many people hence the decision to re-open the tourism sector.
