Namibia will receive a N$3,9 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The money will be utilised towards COVID-19 emergency health response including purchasing vaccines and for vaccination campaigns. This according to a statement released by Finance Ministry spokesperson, Tonateni Shidhudhu. The loan, the ministry says, will also mitigate the severe impact of the pandemic on the economy and society.
