Many Namibians joined Zambians in paying tribute to founding President Kenneth Kaunda as he was finally buried at the Embassy Park in Lusaka. Local academic, media and International Relations expert, Charles Mubita described late Kaunda as a disciplinarian who did not tolerate petty tribal fights.
