Large groups of protesters have gathered in Windhoek, Katima Mulilo and Impalila to protest the recent killing of four fishermen at Kasika by the Botswana Defence Force. In the capital, the protesters will march to the Botswana High Commission and Parliament, while at Katima Mulilo to the Governor's office where petitions will be handed over. The four fishermen, three Namibians and a Zambian national were shot and killed, while they were fishing at the Imapalila Island, at the far eastern tip of Zambezi. The three brothers Tommy, Wamunyima and Martin Nchindo, as well as a cousin Sinvula Munyeme, were killed when they found themselves on the Botswana side of the Chobe river while out fishing. The mother of the three Nchindo brothers has died from a suspected heart attack following the death of her three sons.
