NamWater head of communications John Shigwedha announced that the Naute Dam outside Keetmanshoop in the //Kharas Region is 104,4 % full. He said, because of the highest possibility of rainfall, NamWater released water at 16h00 at a rate of 200 cubic metres per second. Residents living nearby the dam are asked to take precautionary measures.
