The Namibia National Teachers Union (NANTU) wants the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture to ensure that all health, safety and other basic requirements are in place before schools re-open. The call was made by the union's Secretary-General, Loide Shaanika, at a media briefing held in Windhoek on Wednesday.
