The National Council went into recess after two weeks of deliberating on various bills and reports from the parliamentary standing committee. Bills passed include the Appropriation Amendment Bill, the Namibian Industrial Development Agency Bill, the Customs and Excise Bill and the Namibian Special Risks Insurance Association Bill.
