The National Empowerment Fighting Corruption Party says candidates elected as councillors in the upcoming elections will have to cede 30% of their monthly salaries to the needy. The party says the money will be utilised as relief aid for shack fire victims and provision of mobile ablution facilities in informal areas across the country.
