The NBC employees finally handed over their petition to the chairperson of the board of directors, Lazarus Jacobs. The employees are demanding a salary increment of 8% to be back-dated for 24 months. Additionally, the union want all 133 contract workers be employed permanently as per a 2012 memorandum of understanding and in compliance with the Labour Act.
