COVID-19 has highlighted that teaching cannot be limited to the four walls of a classroom. The Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and Namibia College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) signed a three-year agreement to air educational content on the NBC radio, television and multi-media platforms. The long-overdue agreement is further aimed at bringing education closer to the people and ensuring that education reaches more people. Speaking at the occasion, NBC's Director-General, Stanley Similo said that NBC is ready to revive the educational channels to empower people.
