The National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) has opted to forego the Otavi and Grootfontein Regional Council and Local Authority elections as a way of preserving its limited resources. NUDO's Otjiwarongo district organiser, Benestus Karokohe in an interview with NAMPA said his party decided not to contest in the two constituencies to dedicate its limited resources to the areas where it enjoys majority support.
