Ohangwena Governor Walde Ndevashia has been admitted to the Ondangwa Private Hospital. He was tested for COVID-19 on 31 December, and his results returned positive on 4 January. His condition was said to be stable, until Saturday, when he fell ill and was admitted to hospital. His personal assistant, Yuri Shimweefeleni says Ndevashiya is recovering well.
