The Namibian police have confirmed an incident of rape at the Katutura State Hospital's head injury section. According to the police, an unused condom was discovered in the bed of a patient who is heavily medicated. Medical staff who further investigated discovered that the patient (male) was sodomized, and traces of semen were found in the patient's rectum. A doctor who last attended to the patient has been arrested and will appear in court tomorrow. The incident took place on Sunday.
