President Geingob extends condolences to the family of Chrispin Inambao

President Hage Geingob this evening expresses sadness and extended a message of condolences to the family of the late Chrispin Inambao. President Geingob lauded the late Editor of New Era newspaper for his outstanding contributions to a free press. Inambao died at a Windhoek Hospital today. He was 50 years old. "The Government and the Presidency, in particular, remains committed to the foundations of freedom of speech and conscience, including the media. "Through his hard work and commitment, the late Chrispin Inambao contributed immensely to nation-building through the ethos of a free press," said the President. The President said the late Inambao will be remembered for his informative and well-articulated articles. Inambao served as News Editor at New Era before he got promoted to the position of Editor, a position he held until his passing. Before he worked at New Era, Inambao worked as a journalist for The Namibian newspaper.
