High on the agenda of newly elected councillors in the Otjozondjupa Region include the provision of basic services, stock theft, poor labour relations, food insecurity to teenage pregnancies. In her acceptance speech as Regional Council Chairperson, Marlayn Mbakera, who also serves as Otjiwarongo Constituency Councillor, called on fellow councillors to work together with the Governor's office to address issues affecting their areas.
