Hazel de Wet, who works at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, believes women should have an equal chance of being in leadership positions in peacekeeping missions. However, De Wet was quick to point out that this could be challenging, considering that women play multi-disciplinary roles and peacekeeping missions are at times not family-friendly.
